The security update for XP SP2 released on 11th April 2006 but slowly rolling out around the world is not compatible with old versions of ScriptX.

Microsoft has posted some update info here.
This change (to comply with the EOLAS judgement) applies to 'interactive' controls that render a user interface on the page.
ScriptX is a non-visual control, so works exactly the same (with no changes required to any tag or script) before or after installation of that patch.
Both our own in-depth testing and feedback from our customers confirms this.

Enabling HTML headers & footers, the printing of an active frame's contents - and much, much more - MeadCo's MaxiPT custom print template provides printing capabilities for IE5.5 and later that are significantly more powerful, flexible and downright useful than Internet Explorer's standard offering.
We have sampled some of those capabilities here. Click the 'Load Resources' button (IE only) to load - and then accept - the current ScriptX software and the sample's publishing license.
Windows XP SP2 users: IE's Info Bar will appear the first-ever time you click the button. Accept ScriptX from the Info Bar and then when the bar disappears click the 'Load Resources' button again.
Click the button again when 'Run the Sample' appears to launch a modal dialog on which you will find a 'walk-thru' demo illustrating ScriptX and MaxiPT's HTML header and (in this case, hidden) frame printing capabilties.
Note: You should be logged on to your Win2K or WinXP workstation as its computer administrator to permit the installation of ScriptX and the sample's publishing license.
