Microsoft has posted some update info here.
This change (to comply with the EOLAS judgement) applies to 'interactive' controls that render a user interface on the page.
ScriptX is a non-visual control, so works exactly the same (with no changes required to any tag or script) before or after installation of that patch.
Both our own in-depth testing and feedback from our customers confirms this.

On April 11th 2006, IE Security Update KB912812 was made available via Windows Update.
After installing this update and attempting to print an HTML page with the aid of ScriptX you may receive the following error:

To resolve this issue, please upgrade to the latest version of ScriptX (6,3,436,14):
If you are a developer, please download the current version of the ScriptX archive and then update all your servers from which you deploy ScriptX.
If you are a user, you may upgrade to the current version of ScriptX here.
Note:
We are aware of various alternatives to re-solve this issue, including enabling the Internet Explorer Advanced option "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer". We do not recommend you enable this setting in order to resolve this issue with ScriptX.
