Are you an administrator?
ScriptX is code that requires you have administrator rights on your machine in order to install it successfully.
If you are not an administrator, please contact your administrator and ask them to install ScriptX for you.
This page illustrates all-in-one the advanced technical aspects of ScriptX functionality.
To check that a setting is available, change an input field and press the Update Settings button. The entry that you have made will be corrected to the closest available value or to the current default setting.
The buttons and options will not appear on the print out.
Instead, a summary of the current options will be printed.
This is achieved by using the onbeforeprint event. This event is fired when IE is about to make the document snapshot for printing or previewing, to give the script a chance to modify DHTML immediately before printing.
MeadCo's ScriptX is a non-visual downloadable add-on control, developed to provide absolute control over document printing operations from client and server computers running Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser.
Part of its purpose is to ensure the consistent formatting and appearance of printed output from any local or networked printer, regardless of the printing attributes already set in that computer's browser. ScriptX applies a document author's desired attributes at the time of printing browser window or framed content, but thereafter automatically restores all default settings and makes no other permanent changes.
